Comfort Aparthotel Marseille Prado

Apartment was very nice, very comfortable beds and enough space for 4 of us, location was excellent for my plan of holidays (planed beach holiday). Room was clean. I didnt want anyone to clean my room, did it myself , everything that I did need was available outside the room. Ladies at the reception was extremely helpful, they all had very good English language. Angie, if I am.not making mistake of her name, she was incredibly nice to us. An incredible hotel which is located near so many incredible beaches in Marseille which are not super touristy and crowded. The pool is such a plus that many places do not offer for the price that this hotel has. The kitchens in the rooms are also such a bonus and they are fully equipped with anything one could need for a quick meal prep. A coffee machine and tea kettle as well - like there is everything! I found out later on that there was also an iron in the closet which is yet another INCREDIBLE bonus. One of the best things about the hotel is that it is located 5 minutes away from a bus stop and they can pretty much take you anywhere in the city - to the city centre and one of them actually goes also to one of the start points of a easier hiking trail in the Calanques National Park (one more bonus). The staff were also super kind and helpful. I stayed during the wildfire that was happening near Marseille and they helped me figure out how to contact train services in France in order to understand if I will be able to leave the city.

Probably the best price/value economy style combination one can get with late booking there. There was nothing really special about the place, but it was quite fine - like everything you need and could ever expect in the economy segment. And it's also quite close to the city. Not really a comfortable walking distance, but if you rent an e-scooter, that's fine. The long promenade along the beach is just a few minutes walking away. The breakfast was perfectly fine considering the price. Not the biggest choice, but everything needed. Even two sorts of fresh pancakes! Quiet and a very nice view from the balcony. We did not use the pool, but it looked good for an economy style place. We reserved a closed parking slot in advance, which worked fine. Also was quite easy to find with Google Maps.

Location is perfect, close to the beach, Parc Borély, and restaurants. Easy access to transit. All of the staff are absolutely lovely, everyone was very friendly and accommodating at all hours of the day. Room was clean and has a kitchenette for quick snacks. They also offer luggage storing which was fantastic for the time between checking out and into another stay. Also a cute cat that comes in and out of the front entrance.
